B. B. King – HOW BLUE CAN YOU GET? : CLASSIC LIVE PERFORMANCES, 1964-94 MCAD2 11443

bblive2

Compiled from over a dozen of B. B. King’s best live albums, including “Live At The Regal” – `64 and “Blues Is King” -`66, (where the first eight songs on this compilation come from) this is all the proof you need that a live B. B. King concert is the best way to enjoy his music! “The Thrill Is Gone”, “Nobody Loves Me But My Mother”, “Sweet Little Angel” and “Rock Me Baby” are all here with quite a few surprises as well.
B. B. is still the king of the blues and has been for so long that many people seem to take him for granted. I guarantee that this two disc set will make you sit up and take notice of the man and his music! With guest artists Bobby Blue Bland, Gladys Knight, Ruth Brown, Kenny Burrell, Paul Butterfield and Joe Louis Walker, how can you go wrong by picking this one up? As a special treat, we get seven tracks that have not been previously released domestically on CD. Released in 1996, this is by far the best live B. B. King compilation I have heard!
